Jones Lang LaSalle Selected by Wachtler Knopf Equities to Lease 500 Bi-County Boulevard in Farmingdale, NY

Company to oversee leasing at 145,000-SF, Class A office building


MELVILLE, NY, November 16, 2010 — Jones Lang LaSalle was selected by Wachtler Knopf Equities as exclusive leasing agent for 500 Bi-County Boulevard, also known as 500 Corporate Plaza, in Farmingdale. The company will be responsible for leasing and marketing efforts for the 145,000-square-foot, Class A office building.

The Jones Lang LaSalle team overseeing the leasing assignment at 500 Bi-County Boulevard will be led by Raymond Ruiz, executive vice president, Marianne Dugan, vice president, and Doug Seale and Brian Cruz, associates, all with its Melville office. The team will work closely with Philip Wachtler, principal, with Wachtler Knopf Equities.

“Known as one of Long Island’s premier office buildings, 500 Bi-County Boulevard is strategically located on the border of Nassau and Suffolk counties,” said Ruiz. “The property’s high-profile location makes the asset an ideal location for corporations looking to tap the center of Long Island’s sterling demographics and strong labor pool.”

The two-floor, 145,000-square-foot 500 Bi-County Boulevard is located near the intersection of Routes 109 and 110.  The property is also the home of Wachtler Knopf Equities’ main offices.
