Jones Lang LaSalle Represents Hilton Hotels Corporation in Global Headquarters Transaction

MCLEAN, VA, March 11, 2009 – Jones Lang LaSalle announced today that it represented Hilton Hotels Corporation (Hilton) in the signing of a 10-year lease for office space at Park Place II, located in McLean, Virginia.  As previously announced, Hilton will relocate its global headquarters from Beverly Hills, CA, to Fairfax County, VA, during the third quarter of 2009.
Dan Evans and Jeff Groh led the Jones Lang LaSalle team (which included Dee McDonald-Miller and Peter Berg) in the firm’s representation of Hilton.  B.F. Saul Real Estate Investment Trust was represented by the leasing team of Moe Hamilton, Brian McVay, Lou Christopher and Ali Bakke of Cushman & Wakefield.
"Jones Lang LaSalle was a true partner,” noted Matt Richardson Global Head of Architecture, Design and Construction, Hilton Hotels Corporation. “They were diligent, professional, and committed in the face of a very tight schedule."
Hilton’s global headquarters will occupy approximately one-third of the 11-story 323,000 square foot building located at 7930 Jones Branch Drive. Park Place II was completed in 2008 and is owned by the B.F. Saul Real Estate Investment Trust.  Park Place II is adjacent to the Hilton McLean Tysons Corner, a Hilton-owned and managed property, and is LEED Gold certified, meeting one of the highest environmental standards for design, construction and operation.  Additionally, the property features covered parking, excellent access to major roads and the future Tysons Metro, a health club and food service area.
“We are delighted that Hilton chose Park Place II as their new global headquarters,” said Steve Corey Senior Vice President, B.F. Saul Company. “The Hilton team came to the table with a thorough and sophisticated approach which was focused on the company’s complex occupancy and branding needs for a global headquarters.  As a result, we were able to reach mutually acceptable terms quickly and smoothly, and to responsively accommodate the needs of Hilton. We look forward to welcoming Hilton to Virginia and the greater Washington business community.”
