Jones Lang LaSalle Grows Investment Sales Practice in Philadelphia

Douglas Rodio and James Galbally join as Vice Presidents


PHILADELPHIA, Nov. 4, 2010–Jones Lang LaSalle today announced the firm has made two strategic hires to strengthen its investment sales practice in Philadelphia.  Douglas Rodio and James Galbally join the firm as Vice Presidents, specializing in the sale of investment properties and distressed assets for private and institutional clients, developers, lenders and special servicers, as well as providing advisory services for corporate clients.

"We are seeing dramatically increased activity in all sectors of our business, including office, retail, industrial and multi-family,” said Jerome Kranzel, Managing Director, Jones Lang LaSalle’s Investment Sales.  “The addition of Doug and Jim to our practice will give our clients a distinct advantage as we navigate our way out of this recession and into a stable marketplace.”

Rodio brings more than seven years of experience within the commercial real estate industry to the firm, responsible for more than $500 million in transactions.  He attended Penn State University where he was a member of the varsity baseball team.  He is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and a member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), as well as NAIOP Emerging Leaders Group, the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and the ULI Young Leaders Group.

Galbally brings more than five years of experience in commercial real estate to the firm, responsible for more than $250 million in transactions over the past two years.  He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Drexel University and his MBA in Finance from Saint Joseph’s University.  He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), ULI, and the Tri-State Commercial Board of Realtors.
