Jones Lang LaSalle Adds Incentives Expert Ann Marie Woessner-Collins to Expanding Minneapolis Team

MINNEAPOLIS, Sept. 7, 2010 — Jones Lang LaSalle has added nationally recognized economic incentives expert Ann Marie Woessner-Collins to its team in Minneapolis.

Formerly based in Jones Lang LaSalle’s Dallas office, Ann is manager and founder of the company’s Business and Economic Incentives group in North America and was recently promoted to Managing Director.  The Business and Economic Incentives group helps companies negotiate with state and local governments to reduce upfront capital expenses, ongoing operating expenses and taxes involved in site selection and relocation.

Ann’s clients include Aviva USA, Capital One, CVS, EADS/Airbus, US Foodservice, Westinghouse and Whirlpool.

“Having Ann on board with her 25 years of experience adds yet another layer of expertise to the Jones Lang LaSalle platform in Minneapolis,” said Chris Rohrer, Senior Vice President, Jones Lang LaSalle.   “Incentives advice is an important part of the firm’s skill set and is a key factor for clients looking to move, relocate or maximize their assets.”

Ann was a former employee of the Staubach Company and, before that, was a partner at KPMG, LLP, where she started the firm’s National Incentives Practice.

Ann holds a bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University and an M.B.A. from the College of St. Thomas.  She is a member of CoreNet Global and one of her projects was awarded “Deal of the Year” with Real Estate Forum magazine.
Jay Koster, President of Jones Lang LaSalles’ Capital Markets Group, said: “Ann’s national technical skills and creativity have been invaluable on some of our company’s largest transactions for clients. The combination of Jones Lang LaSalle’s integrated approach including incentives, labor, capital markets and brokerage, has produced award winning shareholder results.”

There are more than 200 Jones Lang LaSalle real estate professionals based in the greater Minneapolis area.  They specialize in tenant representation, leasing, property management and project and development services.  The firm manages 5.6 million square feet of space in the Twin Cities.
