Jones Lang LaSalle Adds Senior Talent in Baltimore Office

Stuart Rienhoff and Christine Espenshade bring extensive commercial real estate leasing, sales, and multifamily experience

BALTIMORE, Aug. 27, 2010 – Jones Lang LaSalle announced today that Stuart Rienhoff and Christine Espenshade have joined the firm’s Baltimore office.  In their new roles, Rienhoff leads the Baltimore office and expands his brokerage expertise as Managing Director and Espenshade joins the firm’s national multifamily capital markets practice as Senior Vice President.

“These highly sought after commercial real estate professionals have extensive expertise and talent and are key additions to our Baltimore office and greater Mid-Atlantic team,” said Michael Ellis, Mid-Atlantic Director of Jones Lang LaSalle.  “We are pleased to have them on board as they are critical components within our strategy to grow in the Greater Baltimore Region.”

As an office, flex sales and leasing specialist in the greater Baltimore market, Rienhoff has worked with Fortune 500 companies, real estate investment trusts, law firms, government contractors, universities, associations and the healthcare system.  He is experienced as an owner representative, project marketer, and user representative while also offering counsel on site selection.

In 2004, 2005 and 2009 Rienhoff received Costar’s Power Broker Award – Top 20 Brokers. Rienhoff has also been active in his community serving on the Boards of the Salvation Army, Hereford Recreation Council, Paul’s Place Outreach Center and Preservation Maryland.  Rienhoff holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Washington and Lee University and a master’s degree from the University of Baltimore.

“This is a great opportunity to be part of the team expanding a truly full service and world class real estate services company to the Baltimore and Baltimore Washington corridor markets,” said Rienhoff.  “Over the course of my career, the commercial real estate services industry has moved toward single source providers with a specialized teams approach and Jones Lange LaSalle is all about that.”

Espenshade will focus on expanding the firm’s multifamily sales business in the greater Baltimore region under the direction of Managing Directors Al Cissel and Scott Melnick, leaders of the firm’s Mid-Atlantic Multifamily practice.

As a former MuniMae Vice President, she will also utilize her significant national affordable housing experience to help meet clients’ needs.   During Espenshade’s tenure with the company, MuniMae was one of the nation’s largest syndicators of low-income housing tax credits, which fund most affordable apartment units built in this country.

Espenshade brings more than 13 years of experience in the multifamily industry to Jones Lang LaSalle, most recently with Moran & Company as well as MuniMae.  Espenshade earned her bachelor of arts degree in the Department of Politics at Princeton University and was named one of Baltimore Magazine’s “40 Under 40” in 2008. In addition, Espenshade is involved in the Baltimore community and sits on the Boards of Trustees at both the Enoch Pratt Library and the Walters Art Museum.
