Jones Lang LaSalle Hires Two More Top Industrial Brokers in S. Florida

Firm grows industrial team with addition of Steven Wasserman, SIOR and David Wigoda, SIOR

MIAMI, June 29, 2010 — Jones Lang LaSalle announced today that it has hired two top industrial brokers to further strengthen its industrial business in South Florida. Steve Wasserman, SIOR and David Wigoda, SIOR will join the firm as Senior Vice Presidents.  Based in Fort Lauderdale, they will provide expert advice to individuals and companies leasing, purchasing, developing and disposing of industrial properties throughout South Florida and around the nation.

Wasserman and Wigoda will be part of the greater South Florida industrial team partnering with Steve Medwin, SIOR, CCIM, Harry Wardell, SIOR and Nick Wigoda who joined the firm in February.

With almost 30 years in the industry, Steven Wasserman, SIOR, has completed millions of square feet of commercial real estate transactions and is experienced in all facets of the business including build-to-suit developments, dispositions and tenant representation.  He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Miami and is an active member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR).

With almost 10 years of industry experience, David Wigoda, SIOR specializes in both representing landlords leasing industrial real estate and tenants seeking space for lease, as well as buyers and sellers of industrial properties.  He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Colorado.  He is a graduate and past member of the Board of Directors for the Leadership Broward Foundation. 

Jones Lang LaSalle has approximately 380 employees providing real expertise across all major markets in Florida including agency leasing, property management, project and development services, capital markets and tenant representation.  The firm is responsible for the leasing and management of nine million square feet of Class A office space across the state.
