Jones Lang LaSalle Secures 51,758-Square-Foot Industrial Lease for General Cable

HOUSTON, April 8, 2010 — Jones Lang LaSalle announced today that it has secured a five-year, 51,758-square-foot industrial lease for General Cable at the ProLogis NorthPark building, located at 713 Northpark Central Drive, in Houston, Texas.

Jones Lang LaSalle Senior Vice President John Talhelm and Vice President Kevin Erck represented General Cable. The landlord, ProLogis, represented itself.

“This property is attractive due to its location and easy access to I-45. The building has brand new office space, and we were able to take advantage of a quick transaction timeline for General Cable,” said Erck.

General Cable provides high-end cable products to the oil and gas industries, and the NorthPark building will serve as its Houston distribution center. With the addition of General Cable, the building has reached 50 percent occupancy.
