Jones Lang LaSalle Hires Retail Client Service Expert Scott Trafford

ATLANTA, May 24, 2010 — Jones Lang LaSalle has named Scott Trafford as Senior Vice President of Business Development in its Retail division.  Based in Orange County, Trafford will be responsible for client relationship management with existing and prospective clients seeking retail services in the Western states.  He will work with clients on investment objectives, sourcing acquisitions and developing growth strategies.

“Scott is very well equipped to partner with our clients to achieve their business goals. His impressive real estate background includes managing numerous shopping centers on the West Coast totalling more than five million square feet,” said Kristin Mueller, Director of Business Development for Jones Lang LaSalle Retail.  “His experience, reputation and industry knowledge is extremely valuable for current and prospective clients.”

A 15-year retail industry veteran, Trafford joins from Madison Marquette where he was Regional Asset Manager for the Southern California market which included a three million-square-foot portfolio of lifestyle, urban and regional retail properties.

Trafford holds a bachelor of science degree in business administration from the University of Southern California and a master’s degree in finance form The George Washington University. He is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and the Urban Land Institute (ULI).
