Jones Lang LaSalle Expands Energy and Sustainability platform with Key Southern California Hires

Solar and Renewable Energy veterans David Gralnik and Wayne Alldredge bolster firm’s Energy and Sustainability Services Group

LOS ANGELES, May 10, 2010 — Jones Lang LaSalle has hired 23-year solar and renewable energy veteran David Gralnik, and 21-year energy solutions veteran Wayne Alldredge as Senior Vice President, Renewable Energy, and Portfolio Energy Manager respectively with the firm’s Energy and Sustainability Services group. Gralnik, based in Jones Lang LaSalle’s San Diego office, will be responsible for the firm's solar and renewable energy initiatives. He will use Jones Lang LaSalle's resources to provide local and worldwide solutions that are designed to meet each client's unique renewable energy objectives.  Gralnik is also responsible for maximizing the solar optimization of client's rooftops by leasing roof space and providing installation and ongoing management services for those sites.  Alldredge, based in the firm’s downtown Los Angeles office, will advise corporate and investor clients in identifying and developing sustainable energy management solutions and green business strategies that reduce energy consumption.

David Gralnik has more than 20 years of energy industry experience.  Most recently, he served as Vice President, Strategic Accounts and Alliances at Solar Integrated Technologies, where he was responsible for managing and expanding strategic accounts and international financing alliance partnerships. Previously, Mr. Gralnik served as an Area Sales Manager for Honeywell SES, focusing on the renewable energy market. His prior experience also included VP responsibilities in national accounts sales management and commercial structuring at RealEnergy, TXU Energy, Sempra Energy Solutions and PG&E Energy Services. He also served as the Regional Performance Contracting Sales Manager for Johnson Controls and Honeywell, Inc.

Gralnik holds a B.A. in business administration from California State University at Northridge and is Six Sigma certified.

Wayne Alldredge was previously the Owner/Principal of Improvement Facilitation LLC, a LEED® and energy efficiency consulting company and ENERGY STAR® Partner. He has also served as Field Sales Developer on the ecoSolutions Team at General Electric and Portfolio Engineering Manager at Equity Office Properties.

His experience includes LEED gap analysis, ASHRAE audits, energy conservation implementation, teaching continuous improvement courses, and application of Lean and Six Sigma principles. His expertise extends to healthcare, office and other commercial and institutional properties.

Alldredge received his bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology from California State University. He is a LEED Accredited Professional, a Certified Energy Manager, and a Certified Building Commissioning Professional, as well as an active member of the U.S. Green Building Council, the California Commissioning Collaborative and the Association of Energy Engineers.
