Keith Stauber Joins Jones Lang LaSalle as Leader of Midwest Industrial Services Team

Industrial expert to spearhead strategic growth across platform

CHICAGO, April 29, 2010 — Jones Lang LaSalle announced today that Keith Stauber, SIOR, has joined the firm as a Regional Managing Director of the firm’s Midwest Industrial Services practice. As leader of Jones Lang LaSalle’s Midwest Industrial team, Keith will focus on implementing the strategic growth plans of the business in the Midwest and on developing key client relationships across the firm’s industrial platform.

“As we continue to expand Jones Lang LaSalle’s industrial capabilities in the Midwest in response to the current and anticipated demand within this sector, Keith’s leadership and expertise will be invaluable to our ability to provide the highest level of service to our clients,” said Dan Ryan, Midwest Market Director at Jones Lang LaSalle. “His strong track record and reputation within the industry from 20 years of comprehensive experience in leasing, acquisitions, and development will be tremendous assets to our industrial team and to our clients.”

Keith joins Jones Lang LaSalle from First Industrial Realty Trust where he was Senior Regional Director of the firm’s Chicago/Milwaukee region overseeing acquisitions and performance of the company's portfolio.  During his tenure there he also oversaw the completion of 2.8 million square feet of build-to-suits. Throughout his career, Keith has focused on developing real estate solutions for corporate customers nationwide, including some of the most well-recognized industrial occupiers and institutional owners.

“Attracting top talent like Keith is a key priority for sustained growth as we leverage our leadership to position each local market for the economic recovery,” said Steve Stratton, Regional Managing Director at Jones Lang LaSalle. “The industrial sector has always been a top strategic priority for Jones Lang LaSalle, especially in the Midwest markets, and will be one of the first areas where we will begin to see robust signs of growth.”

"The opportunity to capitalize on and contribute to Jones Lang LaSalle’s growing momentum within the industrial segment is especially exciting,” said Stauber.   “Building on an already strong platform, the potential to expand the breadth and reach of Jones Lang LaSalle’s industrial services and respond to increasing market demand is substantial.”

Prior to joining First Industrial in 2006, Keith was an executive at Colliers Bennett & Kahnweiler for 18 years, where he last served as Senior Vice President of the firm’s industrial group. In addition to numerous awards and acknowledgements from industry peers, he currently is a Board Member of the Chicago Chapter of the National Assocation of Industrial and Office Parks (NAIOP), an active member and a former Board Member of the Association of Industrial Real Estate Brokers (AIRE). Additionally, Keith served as President of the Chicago chapter of SIOR. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Northwestern University.
