JLL Expands Research Team with New Director in Charlotte Office

Charlotte, NC, JUNE 5, 2017 – JLL today announced it is expanding its Carolinas Markets team. The global real estate firm hired Paul Hendershot as Director of Research to provide oversight of research strategy in North and South Carolina. In his new role, Hendershot oversees the creation of data and analysis to enhance client understanding of the market through local and national real estate trends. He offers a unique perspective on the economic conditions across the Carolinas.

Hendershot joins JLL from IMPLAN Group of Huntersville, NC where he previously served as Economics Account Executive. The Wall Street Journal, Charlotte Observer, San Diego Union Tribune, and NPR have featured Hendershot's research and analysis. He brings further experience from his positions as Director of Research for the Charlotte Chamber and Dallas Regional Chamber and as an Independent Economist after founding Hendershot Economics. During his tenure at Dallas Regional Chamber, Hendershot completed over 100 economic development projects.

In addition to his research background, Hendershot served in the United States Air Force as a Communications Specialist. He received a master of science degree in applied economics from the University of North Texas.
