JLL Tapped to Market Church Street Station North in Orlando

ORLANDO, May 25, 2017 – JLL announces today that the firm has been exclusively retained to oversee the sale of Church Street Station, an iconic entertainment center located in the heart of Downtown Orlando's central business district. The northern portion of the Church Street project, currently occupied by Lion's Pride and Ceviche, along with a vacant space which is a fully built-out historic bar, has already hit the market. Church Street Station North will be sold for the best offer, on a "Bid Deadline" format, with all bids due on a specific date to be set in late June.

JLL Managing Director Carson Good, Vice President, Tarik Bateh and Senior Vice President Justin Greider will market the asset on behalf of the property's owner.

"Church Street Station is one of the most beautiful build-outs I have ever seen," said JLL's Carson Good. "The property presents investors with a rare opportunity to acquire an irreplaceable dining and entertainment landmark at the exact center of what has just ripened into one of the most active downtowns in the nation."

The immediate vicinity surrounding Church Street Station has undergone an extensive transformation over the past few years with the opening of major venues such as the Amway Arena, Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, Orlando City Soccer Stadium and the newly renovated Camping World Stadium. There has also been a spike in Downtown Orlando's student and residential population with the new Florida A&M Law School, SunRail station and thousands of new hotel, condominium, and apartment units-- all at Church Street Station's front door.

"We have seen a major shift in Downtown Orlando as an influx of new national brands and high quality local merchants are attracting highly educated, affluent residents and motivating local employees to stay in the area outside of work hours,"  said JLL's Justin Greider, who also heads retail leasing for JLL Florida. "Retailers today are looking for locations that are at the center of a live, work, play atmosphere and Church Street Station is one of the best opportunities in the country for that type of space."

Church Street Station is at the epicentre of downtown Orlando's booming residential, office, sports and entertainment hub. Surrounded by seven special event venues; 65,000 daytime employees and over 18,000 residents; Church Street Station is a landmark dining and entertainment that serves as the focal point for one of Florida's most vibrant downtowns.
