JLL Completes Sale of Department of Veterans Affairs Ambulatory Care Center

LOS ANGELES, June 5, 2017 – JLL's Capital Markets – Government Solutions experts today announced the firm completed the sale of the Department of Veterans Affairs Ambulatory Care Center (VA Loma Linda ACC) in Loma Linda, California. Easterly Government Properties, Inc. purchased ownership of the 327,614-square-foot building.

Loma Linda Release Resized.jpgExecutive Vice President Brian Saal and Senior Managing Director Bill Prutting led the team on the sale along with Managing Directors Lucy Fletcher, Mike Yavinsky, Joe Brennan and Executive Vice Presidents Marc Rampulla, Ryan Smith and Tom Bohlinger.

"This is one of the premier government facilities in the country serving the nation's largest veteran population and unlike anything else in the VA health system," said Saal. "The building's superior design, construction and strategic location made for a highly competitive bidding process. We were proud to market such a meaningful building on behalf of a highly accomplished developer."

Added Prutting, "This is an investment in our nation's healthcare system for veterans, a crucial cog in supporting our national infrastructure."

The VA Loma Linda ACC was a build-to-suit asset completed in May 2016. It serves as the United States Department of Veterans Affairs' flagship outpatient facility and is fully leased to the VA for 20 years. The building is rated as LEED Silver and is located on 37-acres in an enclave that features the Jerry L. Pettis Memorial VA Medical Center and Loma Linda University. The collective VA Loma Linda Healthcare System currently serves more than 72,000 area veterans.
