Rauxa Expands and Relocates New York Office to Brookfield Place in Lower Manhattan

Largest Woman-Owned Marketing Agency to Expand New York Operations, Occupying Top Two Floors at 225 Liberty Street


NEW YORK, March 7, 2017 – Brookfield Property Partners L.P. (NYSE: BPY; TSX: BPY.UN) and JLL today announced that Rauxa, the largest woman-owned independent advertising agency, will expand and relocate its New York operations with a move to 225 Liberty Street at Brookfield Place New York in Lower Manhattan. Rauxa has signed a 50,000-square-foot, 11-year lease at the Class A, 2.67 million-square-foot office tower. The agency will relocate its New York office from SoHo.

JLL represented the building owner and the tenant in the transaction. Brookfield Properties was represented by JLL Vice Chairman Paul Glickman, JLL Managing Director John Wheeler, JLL Managing Director Michael Berman and JLL Executive Vice President Clayton Kline. Rauxa was represented by JLL Managing Director Steven Rotter, JLL Associate Vice President Justin Haber, and Transtar Real Estate President and CEO Richard Miller. Rauxa will occupy part of the 43rd floor and the entire 44th floor at 225 Liberty Street, which is located at the intersection of Liberty and West streets in Lower Manhattan in Brookfield Place New York. The 44-story 225 Liberty Street was designed by Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects (formerly Cesar Pelli & Associates Architects) and constructed in 1987.
