Jones Lang LaSalle Hires Gregory Green

NEW YORK, February 24, 2010 — Jones Lang LaSalle’s New York office has hired Gregory Green as president of its National Agency Leasing group. Green will be based out of the firm's New York office and will work closely with landlords in the New York area and nationally. He reports to Greg O’Brien, CEO of brokerage for the company.

Green, 48, has 24 years of experience in commercial real estate, including New York and national tenant representation, landlord agency leasing, and sourcing national and global corporate accounts. In addition to overseeing the company's National Agency Leasing group, he will be engaged in setting the company's leasing agency strategy and in expanding its agency leasing, property management and investment sales efforts. Green will also serve as chairman of Jones Lang LaSalle's agency leasing committee, and as a member of its brokerage executive and leadership committees.

“Gregory Green has tremendous experience in managing leasing efforts for large, national portfolios of prime office properties for owners and for major corporations," said Peter Riguardi, president of Jones Lang LaSalle’s New York region. "His deep network of local and national owner, broker and tenant relationships will allow us to grow and better serve our clients' needs."

"I am energized at the opportunity to work in partnership with Jones Lang LaSalle's Agency Leasing, Investment Sales and Property Management groups," said Green. "The opportunity to work with these groups, and the company's corporate accounts and tenant representation groups, is very powerful."

Prior to joining Jones Lang LaSalle, Green served in New York as managing director of national leasing for Broadway Partners. His responsibilities included acquisition underwriting, hiring and overseeing external leasing agents, and increasing occupancy for a national portfolio of Class A office buildings totalling over 25 million square feet.

Earlier, Green was a principal and senior vice president with Trammell Crow Co.'s New York brokerage and national outsourcing division, where his responsibilities included new business development, and local and national tenant representation. He managed a global portfolio of 21 million square feet of office space, and a national portfolio of 6 million square feet of office and industrial space, both for major public corporations.

Green is a member of the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts, or NAREIT, and CoreNet Global. He is a licensed real estate sales person in the state of New York.
