JLL Hires Frank Coco, Owen Hane, Don Preate in New York

NEW YORK, October 14, 2016 — JLL's New York office has hired Frank Coco, Owen Hane and Don Preate as executive managing directors. The three professionals will provide tenant representation and agency leasing services, along with new business development, throughout the New York metropolitan area.

Coco, Hane and Preate work together, representing the interests of tenants in a wide variety of industries, including digital media, banking, apparel/luxury goods, ecommerce and law, among others.

Coco has 30 years of experience in commercial real estate in the New York metropolitan region. Previously, he served as an executive vice president with a major New York commercial brokerage, where he developed a diversified practice, assisting corporations with all of their real estate requirements in New York, as well as on a national and international basis. Coco has served as leasing agent for more than 5 million square feet of real estate, and has represented tenants in virtually every business sector: advertising, financial, government, apparel, law, not-for-profit, insurance and media. Earlier, he was principal of Coco Properties.

Coco earned a bachelor's degree from Villanova University, and is a member of the Real Estate Institute at Villanova University's School of Business. He is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York.

Hane has 30 years of experience in commercial real estate in the New York metropolitan region. Previously, he served as an executive director with a major New York commercial brokerage, where he was involved in more than 460 successful office building transactions and represented tenants in leases totaling in excess of 8 million square feet of office space. In addition to his extensive work in the New York metropolitan market, Hane cooperatively handled significant requirements in Boston, Chicago, Cleveland, Dallas, Miami, New Jersey, San Francisco, Seattle, Washington D.C., London and Mexico City. Earlier, he was a director with a separate major New York commercial brokerage.

Hane earned his bachelor's degree from Clark University. He is a member of the Young Men's/Women's Real Estate Association, CoreNet; and The Real Estate Board of New York, where he serves on its Plaza District Committee.

Preate has 25 years of experience in commercial real estate in the New York metropolitan region. Previously, he served as an executive managing director with a major New York commercial brokerage. While there, he developed a highly specialized expertise in representing domestic and international tenants, and has been retained repeatedly by a wide variety of high-profile private and not-for-profit clients.

Preate earned a bachelor's degree in economics, cum laude, from New York University and earned his master's degree from New York University's Leonard N. Stern School of Business. Preate is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York
