Cotten Schmidt & Abbott, LLP signs office lease at Pier 1 Imports Building
FORT WORTH, October 24, 2016 – JLL today announced the firm successfully negotiated a new 10,183 square foot office lease on behalf of Cotten Schmidt & Abbott, LLP. The Fort Worth-based law firm will be relocating to the top floor of the Pier 1 Imports Building located at 100 Energy Way in Fort Worth, Texas.
JLL Executive Vice President Pat McDowell negotiated the lease on behalf of Cotten Schmidt & Abbott and Managing Director Todd Burnette represented Pier 1 Imports.
"We have secured Cotten Schmidt & Abbott in one of the premiere assets in Fort Worth," said McDowell. "The Pier 1 Imports Building gives the firm a great location near numerous restaurants and amenities and provides the accessibility their clients and employees need."
The expanded CBD office submarket remains stable with vacancy just below 15%. As the suburban market has tightened up, the greater CBD area has become attractive to tenants that historically would not look Downtown and has helped bolster absorption, according to JLL Research.
