Jones Lang LaSalle Negotiates New Lease for GCI Inc. in San Francisco

Interior space to be Gold LEED certified

SAN FRANCISCO, CA, January 13, 2009 – Jones Lang LaSalle today announced the negotiation of a five-year lease for 11,030 square feet of Class-A office space at 825 Battery Street on behalf of GCI Inc., the leading San Francisco based commercial contracting/construction management firm.  GCI is relocating to North Waterfront from its previous South of Market location at 185 Berry Street.

GCI will occupy the 3rd floor of the building and is scheduled to move in January 1st.  Construction of the company's office interior is planned for Gold LEED certification with GCI providing its own project management services.   The new lease provides GCI with an economical deal of $24 starting rental rate and three months of free rent.

Jon Faller and Michelle Wilson of Jones Lang LaSalle represented GCI in the planning, negotiation and implementation of the lease.  Bart O’Connor of Cornish & Carey Commercial represented the building owner, CBS.
