JLL Brings Wayside Technology Group to 4 Industrial Way West in Eatontown, NJ

Technology firm inks 10-year lease for 20,000 SF at Class A, 80,000-SF office building

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J., August 30, 2016JLL has completed a new, direct transaction for Wayside Technology Group Inc. at 4 Industrial Way West, also known as Meridian Center II, in Eatontown, N.J., with building owner The Donato Group. The computing products and solutions provider signed for 20,000 square feet at the 80,000-square-foot Class A office building.

Wayside Technology Group was represented by John Kaye and Peter Politi, both with JLL. The pair worked closely with Corbett Donato, principal, with The Donato Group. The building owner was represented by Suzanne Macnow with CBRE.

"For the past several years, we have worked closely with Wayside Technology Group to find a new headquarters location," said Kaye. "We conducted a comprehensive review of office buildings throughout Ocean and Monmouth Counties to find a building that could offer the efficient floor plates, high-tech infrastructure and redundant power required by a technology-based firm like Wayside."

Wayside Technology Group signed a 10-year lease for 20,000 square feet of office space and will occupy the entire third floor at 4 Industrial Way West. The computing products and solutions provider is relocating to the building from its previous offices at 1157 Shrewsbury Avenue in Shrewsbury, N.J.

"Our corporate culture is very family oriented, so when we started looking for space, we were interested in ensuring that our employees did not have to travel more than needed," said Vito Legrottaglie, vice president and chief information officer, with Wayside. "Most of our employees live in Monmouth and Ocean Counties so we decided to do everything possible to remain near our existing offices. JLL, and specifically John Kaye, played an integral part in making this happen. The JLL team has been very knowledgeable and helpful in providing information to assist us in making the right decision for our company."

The three-story 4 Industrial Way West office building was constructed in 1988. The office property is located on 4.6 acres within Meridian Center II in Eatontown. The building is located near the intersection of Industrial Way and Route 35, offers easy access to Routes 36, 18 and 66, and is close to Exit 105 of the Garden State Parkway.
