Jones Lang LaSalle Adds Industrial Specialist to Central Florida Team

Susan Ruby joins the firm as VP and Director of Industrial Services

ORLANDO, February 4, 2009 — Jones Lang LaSalle, the financial and professional services firm specializing in real estate, has appointed Susan Ruby as Vice President and Director of Industrial Services in Florida.  Based in Orlando, Ms. Ruby will work to expand and strengthen the firm’s industrial presence within the Central Florida region.

During her 25-year career, Ms. Ruby has leased in excess of six million square feet and sold more than ten million square feet of industrial property and 450 acres of industrial zoned land.  Her expertise covers tenant and landlord representation, industrial land and facility sales, industrial development and build-to-suits. Ms. Ruby joins from Cushman & Wakefield where she was Director of Industrial Brokerage Services.

Recognized as one of the top industrial brokers in the local market Ms. Ruby has won numerous accolades including:  Central Florida Real Estate Society’s Top Industrial Producer (1995 – 2007); CoStar’s Power Broker of the Year (for the last 4 years).  Ms. Ruby is active in Central Florida’s real estate community – in 1987 she co-founded Commercial Real Estate Women in Central Florida; and is a long-term Board member of the Central Florida Commercial Real Estate Society, Mid Florida Economic Development Commission and NAIOP.

Ms. Ruby attended Western Kentucky University and has earned the designation of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR).
