DALLAS, May 16, 2016 – Skechers found the perfect fit for its newest factory store in Mesquite, Texas. JLL announced today that the firm successfully negotiated a 6,000-square-foot retail lease at Market East Shopping Center, located at 1515 North Town East Boulevard, on behalf of the shoe retailer.
Cushman & Wakefield’s Leslie Mayer, JLL Executive Vice President Mark Newman and Senior Associate Alex Whitman represented the tenant. John Clinkscales represented the landlord, Fidelis Realty Partners.
“There was tremendous appeal for our client in this location,” said Whitman. “The traffic, density, and market demographics made this a great site to expand their footprint.”
This is the second Skechers Factory Store to open in the Dallas area in the past 18 months. The surge in demand has the company looking into other locations across Dallas-Fort Worth to open additional stores.
