Shoham to expand JLL Research’s advisory services capabilities regionally

WASHINGTON, April 26, 2016 – JLL announced today that Tammy Shoham has joined the firm as Vice President of Research. In her new role, Shoham will lead research advisory services in the Mid-Atlantic region, while also working with the broader national research teams on specific large-scale advisory assignments.

JLL’s Research team develops and delivers in-depth customized research projects and studies for JLL’s clients, to help them better navigate real estate investment, occupancy and policy decisions.

“Our deep understanding of the real estate market is firmly rooted in the experience, passion, intellect and relationships of JLL’s local research team and our ability to successfully leverage the talent and expertise of our diverse market-leading business partners,” said John Sikaitis, JLL Managing Director, Research. “As our team’s insight and expertise have evolved, our clients have increasingly asked for substantially-customized and consultative research. With the hiring of Tammy, we are excited to scale a more formalized advisory arm of our market-leading research team.”

“Tammy is the perfect cultural and professional complement to both JLL’s clients and our growing research advisory platform,” said Jocelina Benzmiller, JLL Managing Director, Research. “She adds deep experience in advising  market participants on real estate supply, demand, pricing and policy matters throughout the Mid-Atlantic and the U.S.”

Shoham joins JLL from the Capitol Riverfront Business Improvement District where she was Vice President of Research and Economic Development. She has also served as a Vice President with RCLCO and a Senior Associate with ERA|AECOM in similar research advisory functions.

“Deep market knowledge, reliable data and strong client relationships are the pillars of a great advisory practice and JLL excels in all three,” said Shoham. “I look forward to being part of this innovative team of thought leaders at JLL and to partnering with clients locally and nationally to provide valued insights that clarify opportunities and help them make more informed, strategic decisions.”
