EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J., February 4, 2016 — JLL has hired Brian Davison in New Jersey to serve as a vice president with its Consulting and Advisory Group. He will provide transaction and brokerage support at all levels, as well as expand JLL’s presence throughout the Garden State. He will report to Daniel Loughlin, international director and brokerage lead in New Jersey, and Joseph Messina, executive managing director.

Davison, 41, has more than 17 years of experience in commercial real estate, with expertise in capital markets, commercial lending, asset management, project management, architecture and construction. “Brian Davison is a terrific addition to our team here in New Jersey,” said Loughlin. “His expertise in so many real estate disciplines — finance, transactions, and architecture and construction — make him a real asset to the company.”

Prior to joining JLL, Davison served with Citigroup Global Markets Inc. for 10 years, first as a transaction manager and underwriter with its Large Loan Group and, most recently, as a director with its CMBS trading desk. In that position, he was responsible for the in-depth analysis of credit bonds tied to distressed real estate loans. Davison underwrote, executed and managed more than $3 billion in loan transactions across all property types including several loan workouts and real property dispositions.

Earlier, Davison worked as a project manager and designer with Fox & Fowle Architects, developing designs for various commercial projects, and as an assistant project manager and designer with Stelle Architects / Atlantic Collaborative Construction.

Davison earned a bachelor’s degree in architecture from Cornell University and a master’s degree in real estate finance from New York University. He is a licensed architect in the state of New York and a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional. Davison is a licensed real estate sales person in the state of New Jersey.
