WP Glimcher and Thompson Thrift each sign new office leases in Premier Office Tower
INDIANAPOLIS, Aug. 18, 2015 — Two tenants have signed leases at Chase Tower, 111 Monument Circle. John Robinson, Managing Director, and Adam Broderick, Executive Vice President, both of JLL, represented the landlord in the transactions. The tenants are WP Glimcher, which leased 19,638 square feet, and Thompson Thrift, which leased 16,606 square feet.
WP Glimcher is a national REIT with a portfolio of 121 enclosed regional malls and open-air lifestyle community center. The firm is based in Columbus, OH and is expanding into the Indianapolis market with this space on the 35th floor. Zane Brown with CBRE represented WP Glimcher in the transaction.
Thompson Thrift, a nationally recognized, full-service development and construction company, is leasing the 16th floor, which includes 16,606 square feet. The firm serves individuals and businesses throughout Indiana, the Midwest and the United States. In 2008, Thompson Thrift established Watermark Residential, which is now a national leader in the development, construction, and management of upscale multifamily communities. Both entities will occupy the space.

Chase Tower, the premier 48-story office building in downtown Indianapolis, totals 1.1 million square feet of space and is the tallest and most prominent building in downtown Indianapolis. Completed in 1989, the tower is occupied by a prestigious tenant roster that includes many Fortune 500 companies.
Chase Tower is a Class A office building that includes ground floor retail space that is occupied by Bistro 111, Paradise Bakery, two Chase Bank branches (and ATMs). The building also has a fully-equipped, on-site fitness center.
