Jones Lang LaSalle Completes Negotiations on $137.5 Million Corporate Office Property Sale in San Francisco Bay Area

SAN FRANCISCO, Jan. 29, 2009 - Jones Lang LaSalle, acting as exclusive representative for Electronics For Imaging, Inc. (EFI), the world leader in customer-focused digital printing innovation, has completed negotiations on the sale of one of EFI’s corporate office properties and adjacent underdeveloped land parcels in Foster City, Calif. to locally based biopharmaceutical company Gilead Sciences, Inc. for a reported $137.5 million.
Leading the Jones Lang LaSalle team were Capital Markets Managing Directors Michel Seifer and Robert Dmytryk.
EFI will continue to occupy the company’s primary bay front headquarters office building located at 303 Velocity Way. The company sold the adjacent office building located at 301Velocity Way, consisting of approximately 163,000 square feet, along with approximately 30 acres of entitled development land to Gilead. Both properties are well-located, Class A facilities.
