JLL Taps Veteran Investment Sales Expert in Los Angeles

Tom Bohlinger returns to firm as Executive Vice President

LOS ANGELES, May 26, 2015 – In support of JLL’s efforts to grow its capital markets business in major geographies, the firm today announced that it has hired Tom Bohlinger to join its Capital Markets practice in Los Angeles.  Bohlinger, an Executive Vice President, will work with Managing Director Michael Zietsman and the investment sales team to facilitate office and portfolio sales and to expand the investment brokerage business in Southern California.

“Tom brings a unique approach to investment sales, driving value through his ability to articulate emerging market trends and to identify hidden value in an investment,” said Zietsman. “We’re thrilled that he’s chosen to return to JLL and we know that his depth of experience and broad industry relationships will be tremendous assets for our clients.”

“Tom is highly respected in the commercial real estate industry with strong client relationships and deep transaction experience,” said Peter Belisle, Southwest Market Director for JLL. “We look forward to Tom playing a key role on our team as we continue to build our business in Southern California.”

Bohlinger brings more than 40 years of experience in real estate investment, finance and development and has completed transactions in excess of $6 billion over the course of his career.  He comes to JLL from a competing brokerage firm, where he was an Executive Vice President with the Investment Properties Group.  Prior to that, he was Director of Financial Services-Western Region for Jones Lang Wootton USA; CFO of Howard Development Company; and Senior Vice President of W.
