Craig Jones joins the firm as Managing Director and Leader of Industrial Brokerage Group
DALLAS, March 30, 2015 – JLL today announced the continued expansion of its industrial brokerage group in Dallas-Fort Worth with the addition of Craig Jones. Jones will serve as Managing Director and Leader of the DFW Industrial Group with local operations and growth responsibilities, and work closely with other service lines to coordinate local cross selling opportunities. He brings with him an unparalleled roster of clients and strong relationships at the national, regional and local level.
After more than seven years with the firm and 42 years in industrial brokerage and development, Managing Director Terry Darrow has decided to transition his leadership responsibilities and focus on full-time brokerage with our Dallas Industrial Group. He will remain active as a senior broker on the team and continue to serve our owner and occupier clients.
“The DFW industrial market is stronger than I’ve ever seen, and our team has responded with enthusiasm to maintain, if not outpace, the demand,” said Darrow. “I plan to work closely with Craig during the initial transition to ensure transactions keep moving, and our clients continue to receive the same level of service they’ve come to expect from JLL.”
“Dallas-Fort Worth is a target growth market for the firm’s industrial platform and it’s critical we have a leader that can build upon the strong foundation we already have in place,” said Paul Whitman, JLL DFW Markets President. “Craig’s expertise will complement our established landlord and tenant representation capabilities, and together our team will work to boost our ability to serve clients.”
Prior to joining JLL, Jones was President of the Industrial Division at NAI Robert Lynn. As an industry veteran with nearly 20 years of experience, he is a proven performer that has completed over 32 million square feet of industrial transactions, valued in excess of $350 million. Jones earned a Bachelor of Journalism degree from The University of Texas at Austin, and is an active member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR), the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) and the Salesmanship Club of Dallas. He is a recipient of the 2008 NAIOP Broker of the Year award and numerous Dallas Business Journal Heavy Hitter recognitions.
“Our team is fortunate to have a leading platform with best-in-class professionals,” said Whitman. “We are positive that Terry and Craig will deliver a seamless transition and continue to partner on client-centric results in the future.”
