Public Invited to Shape the Vision of Proposed Williston Crossing Project

Attend a community meeting on April 6th to learn more, and take a short survey

WILLISTON, ND, March 23, 2015 —  The shale zone underneath the Dakotas and Montana already churns out a million barrels per day, output that has made North Dakota the second-largest oil-producing state in the country. Preliminary development plans to support the influx of residents in Williams County has already began, and the proposed Williston Crossing retail, entertainment and mixed-use development will create a place where the energy industry and its families can call home. But the project needs the community’s support and insight.

Whether you live two hours away or in the center of town, Stropiq Inc. wants to hear from you! Take this short 1-minute survey to let them know what retailers you’d like to see in Williston, and how you feel about the project.  Additionally, Stropiq Inc. invites the people of the area to participate in a community open forum prior to the Williams County Commission vote on the Williston Crossing development proposal.

Much has changed for the people of Williston over the past few years. Plenty of people are nostalgic for the Williston of old, but all seem to agree that there is a need for quality retail and more entertainment in the region. We want to hear from you, and we hope you take time to fill out the survey and attend our open forum to share your excitement or voice your concerns with us.

About Williston Crossing
Williston Crossing would be an open-air retail and entertainment destination using a “Dakota Modern” theme, a design intended to use man-made and natural materials to bring together regional character and local style. The location is the intersection of Highway 2 and the NW Bypass north of the city of Williston. The concept is being brought to life by Gensler, the master architects on the project.  To learn more visit:
