South Bay Industrial Specialist Barry Hill Joins Jones Lang LaSalle as Senior Vice President

Strategic Addition to Company's Southern California Industrial Prowess

LOS ANGELES, February 2, 2009 – Jones Lang LaSalle announced today that Barry Hill, an industrial specialist with a prolific track record serving port-related users and investors, has joined the company as Senior Vice President in the firm’s downtown Los Angeles office. Mr. Hill will be joining the industrial team of Paul Sablock, and fellow members Greg Matter and Zac Sakowski, who specialize in industrial sales and leasing, supply chain logistics, and investment sales in the greater Southern California marketplace.

In less than 10 years as a market professional, Mr. Hill has completed more than 160 sale and lease transactions totaling more than 13 million square feet of industrial space principally in the South Bay industrial market. Mr. Hill has completed such notable transactions as the 108,056 square-foot acquisition on behalf of Magtek, Inc. in Seal Beach, California; the 234,771 square-foot lease transaction on behalf of Midas Express in Rancho Dominguez, California; and 270,000 square-feet of leasing transactions on behalf of Laufen International in Carson, California. Mr. Hill's client relationships increasingly span national and international markets. Representative clients include IDS, AMB Property Corp., Bacou-Dalloz, Carson Companies, and Mid-America Overseas.
Mr. Hill joins Jones Lang LaSalle from CB Richard Ellis where he was a vice president in the Torrance, California office. A member of the American Industrial Real Estate Association and National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), Mr. Hill holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from San Diego State University.
