JLL hired to lease, manage Indy’s Precedent Office Park by new owner

INDIANAPOLIS, July 7, 2014 — The local office of JLL has been named as the new leasing agent and property manager for the 21-building, 1.2-million-square-foot Precedent Office Park by the property’s new owner, Chicago-based LaSalle Investment Management.

LaSalle closed on its acquisition of the Class-A property from two separate owners last week and appointed JLL Managing Director John Robinson and Associate Tammy Recker as the park’s new exclusive leasing agents. Ryan Room, who recently joined JLL, was named as the complex’s new General Manager and the new leader of JLL’s Property Management division in Central Indiana.

“For a major, international investment management firm like LaSalle to invest in Indianapolis is a huge vote of confidence on the great momentum we’ve seen in the local economy,” Robinson said. “Precedent Office Park is truly a Class A asset in every sense of the word and we are excited to work with ownership to drive additional value.”

Precedent Office Park is located in the Keystone office submarket and is comprised of a mix of mid-rise, two-story and single-story office properties in a park-like setting in a central location within a half-hour drive from virtually every destination in the greater Indianapolis area.

Amenities within the park include a 6,000 square foot fitness facility, a mile-long walking trail around a 38-acre lake, a national day care provider, a full-service conference facility and multiple restaurants and banks. The Keystone submarket is also home to Simon Property Group’s Fashion Mall anchored by Saks Fifth Avenue and Nordstrom along with some 55 restaurant options and multiple hotel choices.

The complex is currently 94 percent occupied by tenants including Zurich Insurance, Rockwell Automation, Honeywell, M & J Insurance, WebMD, Defender Security and Stonegate Mortgage.
With the new assignment, JLL now leases a portfolio of 38 office properties totaling nearly 6.5 million square feet in Indianapolis.
