Continental Terminals Signs Lease Extension in Suffolk, VA

JLL Represents Ownership in 55,000 SF Extension

NORFOLK, VA – APRIL 21, 2014 - Continental Terminals, a leading importer of coffee beans and the largest handler of specialty coffee in the United States, has signed a lease extension for its distribution center space in Suffolk, VA.

Under the amended lease, Continental Terminals will continue to occupy 55,000 square feet at 1305 Progress Road in Suffolk, VA.
Gregg Christoffersen, Vice President in the Norfolk, VA office of JLL, negotiated the lease extension on behalf of the landlord, CPI Associates III.

"This location provides Continental Terminals access to several clients in the immediate area, including J. M. Smucker, Massimo Zanetti and Green Mountain Coffee, among others," said Christoffersen. "The company has been very successful in growing its business from this building and wanted to maintain that growth trajectory for years to come."

1305 Progress Road in Suffolk, VA is a 174,500 square foot, Class B industrial building at the intersection of Wilroy Road and 13/58/460 in Suffolk, directly across the street from the Sara Lee coffee plant in the Wilroy Industrial Park.
