Jones Lang LaSalle Hires Corporate Services Expert Geoffrey Rockhill


NEW YORK, October 5, 2009 — Jones Lang LaSalle’s New York office has hired Geoffrey Rockhill as a managing director with its Corporate Solutions group. Rockhill will assume a senior management role in the oversight of the company’s Corporate Solutions efforts in the New York metropolitan area.
 
Rockhill, 47, has more than 20 years of experience in serving the needs of major corporate clients in the New York metropolitan area. His expertise includes corporate facility planning, tenant representation, strategic planning, data center site selection and workplace strategies consulting.
 
“Geoffrey Rockhill is a leader in the field of corporate services, having worked with many of the world’s largest corporations doing business in New York,” said Peter Riguardi, president of Jones Lang LaSalle’s New York region. “His extensive experience will allow us to better serve our corporate clients and continue to expand our presence in this important segment of our business.”
 
Rockhill will work closely with Thomas McAdam, international director and head of the company’s corporate solutions group in New York. Previously, the two executives were collegues at Goldman, Sachs & Co.

Prior to joining Jones Lang LaSalle, Rockhill served with Newmark Knight Frank as senior managing director of its corporate advisory services division. He oversaw the development and implementation of strategic plans for many of the world’s leading financial services organizations.
 
Previously, he worked as a vice president and director of corporate real estate for Goldman Sachs & Co., where Rockhill was responsible for the firm’s primary real estate activities: strategic planning, leasing, design and construction, critical systems and property management. He managed a $200 million annual capital plan and annual occupancy costs of approximately $500 million for a portfolio that included 50 cities in the Americas
 
Earlier, he was a managing director with Insignia/ESG, serving as a member of its consulting group. Rockhill has also been affiliated with the New York City Public Development Corp. and Skyline Management/Donald Zucker Co
 
Rockhill received a bachelor’s degree in economics from Brown University and a master’s degree in finance from New York University.
