Jones Lang LaSalle Bolsters Industrial Practice in Puget Sound

BELLEVUE, June 10, 2013 – Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) today announced it has appointed Daniel (Danny) Jackson as an Associate.  He will focus on tenant and landlord representation in the Kent Valley/Southend industrial market and will be based in the Bellevue office.

Prior to joining JLL, Jackson was the Director of Sales and Business Development of Korrio, Inc, a cloud-based service for organizing youth sports, where he raised $7.9M in Series A and Series B venture capital financing.  Prior to that, Jackson was the Founder and CEO of United 1 to1, Inc, a consumer internet company focused on youth sports.  During his career, he has successfully managed more than 200 contract negotiations.

Prior to embarking on his business career, Jackson was a professional soccer player and captained the USL First Division soccer team, Seattle Sounders, from 2004 to 2008, during which the team won the league championship twice, in 2005 and 2007.  He was also voted USL-1 Defensive Player of the Year in 2003, his first full year with the Sounders, after starting his career with the Colorado Rapids.

“Danny is a proven leader, accomplished business professional and innovative thinker who exemplifies the kind of talent valued by our firm and clients.  He will add an extra, valuable dimension for industrial clients in the Southend market,” said Mark Flippo, Jones Lang LaSalle Managing Director.

A native of the United Kingdom, Jackson holds a Bachelor’s in Political Science with a minor in Information Systems from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.  He also captained the Tarheels’ men’s soccer team from 1999-2001, helping the team win a national championship in 2001 and also being named the NCAA’s National Championship MVP.  Jackson was named to the All-ACC soccer team for three years in a row and to the All-American soccer team in 2000-2001.  In 2002, he received the Patterson Medal as UNC Student Athlete of the Year.

As a youth soccer coach from 2002 to 2010, Jackson’s teams won multiple Washington state championships and he was awarded Coach of the Year in 2009.   He volunteers at multiple organizations in and around the area.
