Jones Lang LaSalle Promotes Frank Alvarado to Managing Director

NEW YORK, September 14, 2009 — Jones Lang LaSalle announced that Frank R. Alvarado has been promoted to managing director from senior vice president.
Alvarado, 38, works with Jones Lang LaSalle’s project and development services group in New York, and heads its multi-site project management practice in the Northeast. He also serves as liaison for  Jones Lang LaSalle’s U.S.-based clients with project requirements in Latin America. He directs multiple corporate project assignments totaling more than 3 million square feet of office, retail and technology spaces throughout the Americas. Alvarado oversees a team of more than 25 professionals.
Prior to joining Jones Lang LaSalle, he was a managing associate with Meridian Design Associates, where Alvarado was the associate in charge of New York and Miami office operations for the company. Client projects included overseeing the relocation of several New York radio stations for Clear Channel Communications, managing a national program of transmitter installations for Tribune Media and overseeing projects across the country for Westwood One Radio Networks.
He launched his career as a project manager and designer for DAT Consultants/S.F. Architects, where Alvarado contributed to the design, construction documentation and construction administration of trading floor facilities.
Alvarado received a bachelor’s degree in architecture from Syracuse University and a master’s degree in strategic planning and entrepreneurship from the City University of New York’s Zicklin School of Business. He is a candidate to receive a Six Sigma Green Belt Certification.
