Jones Lang LaSalle’s Patrick Davis Honored as a Top Under-50 Diverse Executive by Diversity MBA Magazine

National business magazine recognizes Davis on its 2012 “Top 100 Under 50 Diverse Executives & Emerging Leaders” list for his professional achievements and commitment to Diversity & Inclusion

CHICAGO, July 17, 2012 – Diversity MBA Magazine announced that it is honoring Jones Lang LaSalle’s Patrick Davis on its list of “Top 100 Under 50 Diverse Executives & Emerging Leaders.” Diversity MBA Magazine, an internationally distributed publication targeting women and multicultural professionals in corporate business and government, will recognize Davis’ accomplishments at its sixth annual Leadership Forum and Awards Gala at the Palmer House Hilton in Chicago on September 20 and 21.

This year’s “Top 100 Under 50 Diverse Executives & Emerging Leaders” roster represents a global selection, with honorees from China, Africa and Europe, and are affiliated with multiple industries, including retail, financial services, transportation, healthcare, education, medical, communications, government and consulting.
Davis, a Vice President with Jones Lang LaSalle’s Project & Development Services group, has managed multiple complex projects for some of Jones Lang LaSalle’s most valued clients for eight years in the health care, banking and financial services industries, as well for medical research and life science laboratories, higher education institutions and complex office buildings. With his diverse project portfolio, Davis’ professional reputation is supported by the strong client, contractor, vendor and landlord relationships he maintains on each assignment he manages.
Beyond delivering valued services to his clients, Davis supports Jones Lang LaSalle’s Diversity and Inclusion program through his work on the Recruitment Action Team, which visits historically black colleges and universities’ campuses to recruit top talent candidates to interview with the firm.
“Patrick demonstrates total dedication and commitment to his clients, his colleagues and the community. His innovative thinking, results and work ethic speak to his professional reputation, and the relationships he has both inside and outside the firm support his value and accolades he receives,” said Todd Burns, President of Project and Development Services at Jones Lang LaSalle. “His dedication to his clients and strong relationships with colleagues make him a worthy recipient for this kind of recognition.”
Davis holds a bachelors of science degree in Construction Science Management from Tuskegee University and received a Master’s of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, Woodland Hill, California Campus. His commitment to the civic community and industry includes membership to Real Estate Advisory Program (REAP) Atlanta, mentoring through Year Up Atlanta, Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc. and Tuskegee University Alumni Association. He received Jones Lang LaSalle’s Rising Star Award in 2010, as well as Innovative Project of the Year for his work on Georgia State University’s Science Park.
“Diversity MBA Magazine wanted to celebrate leaders who value higher education and giving back while achieving their career goals,” said Pam McElvane, CEO and Publisher of Diversity MBA Magazine. “Organizations often recognize established, high-profile leaders, but we wanted to pay tribute to companies and their leaders that champion change, celebrate innovation and are the pipeline for the future. Congratulations to Patrick and his fellow listmakers for their contributions to their companies and to diversity, who deserves the accolades.”
