Paul Kelsey Joins Jones Lang LaSalle as Vice President

LEED Accredited Veteran to oversee Jones Lang LaSalle’s Healthcare Practice in Southern California


LOS ANGELES, March 30, 2009 – Jones Lang LaSalle announced today that Paul Kelsey has joined the company as Vice President and Healthcare Practice Lead for the firm’s Project and Development Services group in Southern California. With over 17 years experience in the industry as both a licensed architect and a project manager, Mr. Kelsey will oversee healthcare projects in Southern California and is responsible for consistently delivering innovative and effective project management solutions to the healthcare industry. Mr Kelsey is based in Jones Lang LaSalle’s downtown Los Angeles office.

Prior to joining Jones Lang LaSalle, Mr. Kelsey was a Project Director for Jensen Partners, a nationally recognized construction project management consulting firm based in Los Angeles. At Jensen Partners, Mr. Kelsey was responsible for design and construction phase management for clients including a new 105,000 square-foot research facility for City of Hope in Los Angeles; a new $14.2 million emergency department for St. John’s Hospital in Camarillo, California; as well as master planning and project management services for a $500 million multi-phased seismic upgrade and replacement hospital project for Tri-City Medical Center in Oceanside, California. He also completed a review and master planning study for a new 700,000 square-foot academic medical center at Vedanta University in Puri, India.
 
Prior to his work at Jensen Partners, Mr. Kelsey was a Senior Project Manager for Perkins + Will Architects, Inc., where he led the design and construction administration team that delivered Oregon Health and Science University’s Kohler Pavilion, an award-winning high-rise patient care facility in Portland, Oregon.
 
Mr. Kelsey is a graduate of the University of Arizona’s College of Architecture, and also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from Grinnell College in Grinnell, Iowa. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects and is a LEED® Accredited Professional.
