Jones Lang LaSalle Appoints Ami Patel to Advance “Total Rewards” for Employees

CHICAGO, September 4, 2013 — Demonstrating that its culture and people are differentiators in the marketplace, Jones Lang LaSalle has hired Ami Patel to the newly created role of Senior Vice President, Total Rewards.

Creating this role and selecting Patel enables JLL to streamline its national human resources platform to support the company’s unique Total Rewards Philosophy. Developed in 2012 based on employee feedback and built on a foundation of trust and integrity, Total Rewards addresses employees’ changing needs and preferences. The program empowers employees to make decisions about their professional, personal and financial health; and recognizes and rewards outstanding contributions. Total Rewards requires an unwavering commitment to leadership – and leading the right way – on behalf of the firm, clients and one other. Total Rewards underscores JLL’s commitment to provide a distinctive, fulfilling employee experience.

Backed by 20 years of human resources experience, Patel joins JLL from MillerCoors, where she was Senior Director, Compensation and People Operations for six years. There, she developed strategic practices to manage all broad-based, executive compensation strategies and programs, while also overseeing HR systems, technologies, data, reporting and analytics capabilities for human resources and the company.

“We’re thrilled to attract someone of Ami’s caliber to Jones Lang LaSalle. We know our Total Rewards philosophy and approach will continue to help us differentiate Jones Lang LaSalle as an employer of choice,” said Beth Hayden, Chief Human Resources Officer, JLL Americas.

Prior to MillerCoors, Patel held various HR management positions at companies representing broad industries, of which include TIAA-CREF; GE; Sears, Roebuck & Co.; and Chicago Transit Authority. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin, Madison; her Master of Business Administration in Management Sciences from Loyola University, Chicago; and received certification by World at Work, as both a Compensation Professional and Sales Compensation Professional.
