SEATTLE, WA., August 27, 2013 – San Francisco-based Twitter has executed a lease for approximately 16,000 square feet at Century Square in Seattle. Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) represented Twitter and the landlord in the transaction. Terms of the lease were not disclosed.
Build out of the space is underway but Twitter is not expected to occupy the space until early next year. When opened, this will be the social media company’s first major office presence in the Seattle market.
Laura Ford and Allison Fadden of Jones Lang LaSalle represented the landlord. Joe Gowan, Derek Johnson and Andy Poppink of Jones Lang LaSalle represented Twitter.
Century Square, located at 1501 Fourth Avenue, is a 30-story LEED Silver certified office building with panoramic views of the Puget Sound. Situated in the heart of downtown Seattle, Century Square is close to many Metro bus stations and the transit tunnel, Link Light Rail and the South Lake Union Streetcar.
