Jones Lang LaSalle Negotiates 13,631 Square-Foot Office Lease in Research Triangle Park

RALEIGH, Aug. 20, 2013 — Jones Lang LaSalle’s Raleigh-based Tenant Representation group announced today that it has completed a 13,631 square-foot office lease in the Research Triangle Park (RTP) on behalf of
Cheminova, Inc., a global plant protection supply company.

Cheminova is expanding their footprint in RTP.  The firm signed a new 13,631 square-foot office lease at One Park Drive, Durham, expanding the space they previously occupied on the first floor to a brand new space on the fourth floor of the building.  Jones Lang LaSalle Senior Vice President David Fleming represented the tenant throughout the transaction.

“As we navigated the site selection process, the submarkets Cheminova was considering took a noticeable turn for the better, which made this project extremely competitive half-way through, as several of the spaces under consideration had multiple offers being negotiated at the same time,” Fleming said.  “After a twelve-month, complicated negotiation and financial analysis of alternatives, Cheminova executives determined that a new facility located on the top floor of One Park Drive hit the bull’s eye on their list of facility requirements.  I am thrilled to have worked with such a world-class crop protection company and important member of the Research Triangle Community; most of all, that we secured a major league facility that will nurture their continued growth and success in the Raleigh-Durham market.”

Cheminova, Inc., headquartered in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, is the United States subsidiary of Cheminova A/S, a global leader in the production, development and sale of fine chemicals. Cheminova A/S is located in Lemvig, Denmark.
