GSA Signs 15-Year Lease at Frontier Building in Midtown Anchorage

Bureau of Indian Affairs renews for more than 43,150 square feet in Anchorage, Alaska


WASHINGTON, May 20, 2013 – Jones Lang LaSalle has assisted the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) in the award of a 15-year succeeding lease in Anchorage, Alaska for 43,150 square feet in the Frontier Building at 3601 C Street.

Jones Lang LaSalle’s Julie Rhoades along with Jim Wood of Coldwell Banker Commercial represented the GSA.  Albert Circosta of TRF Management represented the building owner 3601 C Street, LLC.

The 14-story, 254,439-square-foot Frontier Building is one of the tallest buildings in midtown Anchorage.  It offers easy access to the central business district and airport.

According to its website, GSA’s leased portfolio contains more than 8,100 separate properties – totaling approximately 192 million rentable square feet–dispersed across the United States.  Since 2005, Jones Lang LaSalle has assisted GSA in the award of more than 1,257 leases.  Nationwide, the firm is currently assisting on more than 312 lease procurements for Federal civilian departments and agencies across the executive, legislative and judicial branches.
