Jones Lang LaSalle Negotiates Eight Office, Industrial and Land Transactions in Dallas-Fort Worth


DALLAS, April 25, 2013 – Jones Lang LaSalle today announced the completion of eight transactions, totaling 374,199 square feet of office and industrial space and 78.52 acres of land.

The Office Tenant Representation Group completed 10,402 square feet:

  • Trinity Materials, Inc. leased 10,402 square feet of office space at 1112 E. Copeland in Arlington, Texas.  JLL Managing Director Jeff Staubach, Executive Vice President Russell Cosby and Vice President Kimarie Ankenbrand negotiated the lease on behalf of the tenant.  The landlord, RPM Commercial, was self-represented by Leasing Agent Gloria Albanesi.
The Agency Leasing Group completed 11,711 square feet:
  • 1700 Pacific completed two office lease renewals totaling 11,711 square feet.  JLL Managing Director Jeff Eckert, Executive Vice President James Esquivel and Associate Clint Coe negotiated the leases on behalf of the landlord, Berkeley Investments.
    • Bierne Maynard & Parsons renewed its 7,654-square-foot lease.  Transwestern Principal Sanders Thompson represented the tenant.
    • Stantec Consulting renewed its 4,057-square-foot lease.  Mohr Partners represented the tenant.
  • 8435 N. Stemmons, located near Dallas Love Field Airport, renewed a 5,619-square-foot lease on behalf of Quantlab Financial.  JLL Managing Director Jeff Eckert and Executive Vice President James Esquivel represented the landlord, Diversified Capital.
The Land Group completed 78.52 acres of land:
  • A national financial institution sold three tracts of land in the Dallas Metroplex totaling 47.82 acres.  JLL Executive Vice President Larry McCorkle and Senior Vice President Michael Swaldi negotiated the transactions on behalf of the seller.
    • Hines purchased 39.87 acres of land located at Highway 114 and Beltline Road in Irving.
    • An undisclosed investor purchased two tracks of land located at 1903 W. Diplomat and 2001 W. Diplomat Drive in Farmers Branch, Texas, totaling 3.9 acres and 4.05 acres respectively.  The buyer was represented by JLL Vice President Michael Haggar.
  • Hines purchased 30.7 acres of land located at Highway 114 and Cabell Road in Irving, Texas from Freedom Center DFW.  JLL Executive Vice President Larry McCorkle and Senior Vice President Michael Swaldi represented the seller.
The Disposition Services Group completed 352,086 square feet:
  • Uniden Financial sold a 352,086-square-foot building located at 4700 Amon Carter Boulevard in Fort Worth, Texas to an undisclosed buyer.  The property, which sits on 17.41 acres of land, is comprised of 137,554 square feet of office space and 214,532 square feet of warehouse space.  JLL Managing Director Tom McCarthy, Executive Vice President David Walters, Senior Vice President Doug Carignan and Vice President Melissa Holland represented the seller.  Transwestern Vice Presidents Brad Struck and Jim Hazard negotiated on behalf of the buyer.
