Jones Lang LaSalle expands Indianapolis office with addition of Investment Sales expert Rebecca Wells


INDIANAPOLIS, April 18, 2013 — As part of an ongoing effort to broaden its platform of services in Indianapolis and across the Midwest, Jones Lang LaSalle announced today that industry veteran Rebecca Wells, CCIM, has joined the firm as an Executive Vice President in the Indianapolis office.

During her more than 20-year commercial real estate career, Wells has specialized in office and retail acquisitions and dispositions and has also restructured loans, secured financing and negotiated equity partnerships on behalf of both global and domestic clients.

In her new role, she will work closely with Midwest Capital Markets leader John Huguenard and Indianapolis Office Managing Director John Robinson to expand the firm’s platform of services, focusing on retail investment sales in the Midwest.

“The addition of Rebecca to our Indianapolis team significantly increases the level of service that we can provide to our clients here locally,” Robinson said. “We’re extremely pleased to have a person of her caliber here locally as a resource.”

Huguenard, meanwhile said he’s witnessed a significant increase in client demand for real estate services in the Midwest, recently, and that Wells’s hire is a direct response to that.

“We expect retail dispositions in the market to be the highest since the downturn, and Rebecca’s best-in-class expertise combined with our existing capabilities in these sectors will give our clients access to the best local market knowledge and global reach.”

Wells joins Jones Lang LaSalle from national commercial real estate firm Cassidy Turley, where she served as Senior Vice President-Institutional Sales Group. An Indiana University graduate, she is the past president of the Indiana CCIM chapter and an active member of ICSC.
