Jones Lang LaSalle announces hiring of veteran office broker Ann Schmelzle in St. Louis


ST. LOUIS, Mo., March 25, 2013 — Jones Lang LaSalle announced today that veteran office broker Ann Schmelzle has joined the firm as a Vice President in the St. Louis office.

Schmelzle joins Managing Director Lynn Schenck and fellow brokers David Steinbach, David Biales and Matt Aljets on the JLL St. Louis Office Brokerage team.

She comes to JLL from Cresa St. Louis and has more than 17 years of experience in both Tenant Representation and Landlord Leasing. She has completed lease transactions totalling more than 5 million square feet and valued at more than $59 million for clients including Opus Northwest, Montgomery Development, Prudential Alliance Realtors, Liberty Mutual, Mass Mutual, CIGNA, BGK Group, Bakewell Corporation, Willis Corp., Kforce Inc., Parents As Teachers, Softtek and M+H Architects, among others. 

Ann is a past president of CREW St. Louis (2011) and participated on a CREW Network task force to establish national membership guidelines. In 2003, she was awarded the Sales Associate of the Year by the St. Louis Association of Realtors (“SLAR”) Commercial Division and served as a Director on the SLAR Commercial Division Board.

A resident of Des Peres, she is actively involved with the YWCA, The Life Skills Foundation and St. Gerard Majella Catholic Church.
