Jones Lang LaSalle Sponsors Black Tie & Black Jack Casino Night on Feb. 23

Brittany Wunsch, Stacy Grossman, Micah Brill of JLL serve as active members of Society Ties, young professionals committee that hosts fundraiser for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society

NEW YORK, February 1, 2013 — Jones Lang LaSalle is serving as a sponsor of the annual Black Tie & Black Jack Casino Night hosted by Society Ties, the young professionals committee of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The fundraiser will take place on Saturday, Feb. 23 at Pier 60, which is located at 23rd Street and the Hudson River.

JLL’s Brittany Wunsch, associate broker, serves as event chair heading up the Prize committee. She is an active member of Society Ties, along with Stacy Grossman, executive assistant, and Micah Brill, portfolio energy manager. Society Ties has hosted Black Tie & Black Jack Casino Night for the past 12 years. More than 800 people attended the event in 2012, raising in excess of $220,000 to support LLS’s mission. Along with JLL, additional event sponsors include Bloomberg, JAE Credit and Pfizer.

"I'm thrilled to be involved with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, which is such a great organization,” said Wunsch. “With JLL's involvement on a corporate level, Society Ties hopes to raise funds for awareness on a larger scale and, as a result, contribute to research that could one day lead us to a cure."

LLS is the world's largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research, education and patient services. The organization relies entirely on the generosity of individuals, corporations and foundations to fund its lifesaving research, patient education and support programs.
