Jones Lang LaSalle Negotiates Two Leases on Behalf of Harsch Investment Properties in San Diego

SAN DIEGO, Nov. 13, 2012 – Jones Lang LaSalle’s brokerage team completed two leases totaling 41,691 square feet of space, representing the landlord Harsch Investment Properties, in both transactions. 

  • Eastman Kodak Company leased 16,107 square feet of space at Carmel Corporate Plaza, located at 15015 Avenue of Science in San Diego’s Carmel Mountain Ranch. Jones Lang LaSalle’s Managing Director Jay Alexander and Senior Vice President Ryan Grove negotiated the lease on behalf of Harsch. Chris Pascale of CBRE represented the tenant. The 24-month lease is valued at $922,000. Carmel Corporate Plaza features large, open floor plates of 10,000 to 40,000 square feet with expansive windows and 11-foot ceilings.
  • LifeProof leased 25,584 square feet of space at Avenue of Science Center, located at 15110 Avenue of Science in San Diego. Jones Lang LaSalle’s Managing Director Jay Alexander and Senior Vice President Ryan Grove negotiated the lease on behalf of Harsch. Randy LaChance and Jonathan Danton of Voit Real Estate Services represented the tenant. The 36-month lease is valued at $915,000. Avenue of Science Center offers large floor plates, easy freeway access and close proximity to hotels, major retail and restaurants.

Earlier this year, Alexander and his team negotiated a deal on behalf of Harsch the State of California for 25,728 square feet at Carmel Corporate Plaza and with Ideal Industries for 17,466 square feet at Avenue of Science Center. The most recently leases with Eastman Kodak Company and LifeProof bring these two properties, both located on Avenue of Science, to more than 95 percent leased.
