Jones Lang LaSalle Construction Wins 80,000 SF Construction Assignment for The Entegris Advanced Nanotech R&D and Manufacturing Center in Bedford, MA


BOSTON, September 21, 2012 — Jones Lang LaSalle Construction was awarded the contract to provide construction management / general contracting services by Entegris for its i2M Center for Advanced Materials Science (“i2M Center) in Bedford, MA.  Entegris is a global provider of products and technologies used to solve the most difficult purification, process control, and material protection challenges in advanced semiconductor and electronics manufacturing.

When completed, the i2M Center will be one of New England’s leading R&D and manufacturing centers for filtration media, electrostatic clamps (E-Chucks) and proprietary advanced, low-temperature coatings. The complete remodeling of this entire existing facility will consolidate Entegris operations in Greater Boston, and house approximately 100 professional and skilled employees.
As part of the project, whe existing building at 9 Crosby Drive in Bedford, MA  will be completely customized to meet Entegris’ needs, and will feature: multiple clean rooms, large manufacturing areas, and all new building and waste treatment systems. Construction has begun, and completion is scheduled for late spring 2013.
