Jones Lang LaSalle Appoints New Detroit Office Leadership

Firm establishes new leadership structure to accommodate growing Detroit market share

DETROIT, August 16, 2012 – Jones Lang LaSalle today announced that, effective immediately, John Cullen, Senior Vice President of Property Management and Dave MacDonald, Executive Vice President for Brokerage, will co-lead its Detroit office. This strengthened leadership will allow the firm to take advantage of the dramatic uptick in market activity while it continues delivering valued, integrated services to existing clients.

Cullen’s strong reputation in the market and strategic approach to managing relationships will externally represent the firm and its 850 employees across Detroit and its submarkets, while MacDonald will focus his business strengths internally to build and manage the team, improve productivity and drive strategic planning for the growing workforce.

“By instituting a co-leadership model we are leveraging our collaborative approach, taking advantage of and focusing John and Dave’s complementary strengths and skillsets to streamline the teams across all business lines,” JC Pelusi, Market Director for Jones Lang LaSalle’s Great Lakes region said. “These leaders will ensure Jones Lang LaSalle is delivering the best services to our clients and managing internal and external opportunities more effectively.”

To efficiently integrate Jones Lang LaSalle’s Detroit multi-platform service operations across surrounding submarkets, the firm appointed inaugural members to the market’s Executive Committee. These leaders are:
•    John Cullen
•    Dave MacDonald
•    AJ Weiner, Executive Vice President and National Director, Agency Leasing
•    Neal Warling, Senior Vice President and National Director

“The Executive Committee’s charge is to work together to streamline office procedures, mentor, support and advance the office professionals and drive business opportunities. We believe this unified approach will foster our differentiating culture while delivering client-focused solutions that solve challenges and build long-term relationships,” Pelusi said.
