Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels Appoints Adam McGaughy as Managing Director

Stewart Brown and Tony Muscio promoted to Senior Vice Presidents; Johnny Wong promoted to Vice President

CHICAGO, July 25, 2012 – Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels today announced it has promoted four executives. Adam McGaughy has been promoted to Managing Director, while Tony Muscio and Stewart Brown were promoted to Senior Vice Presidents, and Johnny Wong to Vice President.

McGaughy currently leads the firms Chicago office where he focuses on hospitality Investment Sales throughout the Midwest. McGaughy has transacted over $1 billion of hotel assets sales throughout North America since joining the team in 2006, including the high-profile transactions of the Ambassador East Chicago, Hyatt Regency Minneapolis, Hyatt Capitol Square Columbus Ohio and the Hilton Downtown St. Louis. McGaughy received his MBA in real estate finance and marketing from DePaul University, and also holds a B.S. from Michigan State University’s School of Hospitality Business.

Brown, who is based in Miami, supports the firm’s Southeast, Caribbean and Latin American Strategic Advisory and Asset Management businesses. Brown has advised on a wide variety of strategy and consulting projects including expansion strategies, due diligence, asset management, and valuations with key clients. Brown received his MBA from the Moore School of Business at the University South Carolina, and his B.A. from the University of Virginia.

Muscio, who is based in Los Angeles, currently supports the firm’s West Coast hospitality Investment Sales business. Muscio has been involved with more than $3 billion of asset sales throughout the West Coast including most recently the Colony Palms Hotel, Fairmont Orchid, Kyoto Grand and Sheraton Keauhou. Muscio received his B.S. from Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration.
Wong is based in the firm’s Chicago headquarters and supports the firm’s business operations platform. He previously spent four years as part of the West Coast Investment Sales team, and was involved in more than $900 million of asset sales. Wong received his B.S. from Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration.
