Ted Tomaras promoted to Global Chief Operating and Financial Officer

CHICAGO, June 20, 2012 – Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels, the world's leading real estate investment and hospitality advisory firm, today announced the appointment of Jalil Mekouar to the dual role of Managing Director of the firm’s Strategic Advisory and Asset Management business and Americas Chief Operating Officer. These appointments represent a strategic move to enhance the firm’s regional client service offerings by drawing on the last five years of Mekouar’s broad advisory and transaction experience building Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels into the leading investment and advisory firm in the Middle East and Africa. It’s our goal to appropriately meet those demands with the enhancement of our Strategic Advisory and Asset Management business,” added Mekouar.

Tomaras has more than 20 years of experience within the professional services, hospitality, consulting and real estate industries and was hired as the Americas Chief Operating Officer of Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels in 2007.
