Jones Lang LaSalle Names Jeff Eckert Director of Leasing and Management in Dallas-Fort Worth

DALLAS, May 2, 2012 – Jones Lang LaSalle today announced that it has appointed Senior Vice President and industry veteran Jeff Eckert as leader of the firm’s Agency Leasing and Property Management groups.  As Director of Leasing and Management, Eckert’s immediate focus will be to strengthen Jones Lang LaSalle’s investor services platform and strategically recruit top-talent. Currently, the firm leases and manages approximately 19 million square feet across Dallas-Fort Worth.

“Jeff has a rich history within the firm, and a proven track record of client service within the industry,” said market President Paul Whitman. “By transitioning him into an involved player-coach role, not unlike my own, our team can continue advising and supporting our existing clients while strengthening business development momentum.”

Over Eckert’s 15-year real estate career, he has leased iconic buildings such as Trammell Crow Center, 1700 Pacific, Park Place on Turtle Creek and Preston Sherry Plaza.

“It is an honor to work alongside a group of first-class colleagues within our Agency Leasing team,” Eckert stated.  “I also look forward to partnering with Joel Austin and his Property Management team as well as our Investment Sales team led by Evan Stone, John Alvarado and Jack Crews.  We haven’t yet fully tapped the national resources available to reach our full potential in the market and our team is ready for the opportunity.”

Prior to joining Jones Lang LaSalle, Mr. Eckert was a Senior Vice President at Trammell Crow Company.  Mr. Eckert earned his Bachelor of Business Administration’s degree in Accounting from Southern Methodist University.  He is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and a licensed Texas Real Estate Salesman.
